The Saldaña-Bravo guitar duo have delighted audiences in America and Europe, with their powerful playing, wide expressive palette and unique repertoire. 

Since 2000, Silvana and Javier have been playing a wide ranging repertoire that has enabled them to cross musical boundaries and to attract a variety of audiences. Their recitals cover music from Baroque music up to contemporary Latin-American music, including tango and folklore music of Argentina. 

Up to date, the duo have released two albums: “A Dúo” (2004), which includes works from Baroque to 20th century Latin American music, and “Carmen!” (2013), dedicated to spanish inspired music with compositions by  Bizet, Rodrigo, Sor, Granados, Lecuona and Falla  among others.

They have performed as a duo, and as soloists, at festivals and concert series in several countries, including Argentina, USA, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Italy, France, Paraguay, Switzerland and Uruguay (Eduardo Fabini Festival, Guitarras del Mundo, Lausanne Festival, Guitarras en Concierto, among others).

They also have performed live many times in radio and television and appeared as soloists with the Congress Chamber Orchestra, San Martin Symphony Orchestra, Policía Federal Symphony Orchestra, and  Filarmónica de Toluca  performing pieces by Vivaldi, Castelnuovo Tedesco and Bravo.

Besides their performing career, Silvana and Javier carry out an intense teaching activity as guitar professors at Buenos Aires conservatories Manuel de Falla, Astor Piazzolla and National University of Arts, giving master classes in Argentina and abroad.
